Cereus peruvianus monstrose (8.5cm)

Cereus peruvianus monstrose (8.5cm)

Growing up to 4.5m, the Cereus peruvianus monstrose is a cactus to behold. It's irregular, almost gnarled texture gives it a distinctive and remarkable sculptural quality. In early summer it produces small white flowers but you'll need to be quick to see them as they only bloom at night. Given the right conditions it can also produce beautiful pinkish red fruit which can be eaten. Quite the specimen!
